About Spray Tan

DHA, which stands for dihydroxyacetone, is the active ingredient used in spray tanning to help achieve a beautiful bronze skin tone. Here's how it works: when DHA comes into contact with your skin, it reacts with the amino acids present on its surface.

It's a bit like how apples turn brown when you cut them and leave them out in the air. DHA "reacts" with the amino acids on your skin's surface, creating new chemical compounds that give your skin a lovely bronze shade. This process is entirely safe and doesn't penetrate deep into your skin, so you don't have to worry about skin damage.

During our spray tan session, you'll step into our tent.

Using a special device called an airbrush, we delicately mist a finely-tuned bronzing solution onto your skin.

You don't need to worry about unsightly streaks, spots, or tan lines. Our technique ensures that your tan looks entirely natural, as if it were the result of sun-kissed rays. It's a quick, painless, and highly effective solution for those who want to enjoy beautiful skin without the risk of UV exposure.

Bridal Trial Tanning - Why Is It Important?

Trial tanning is a crucial step in preparing for your big day. We recommend scheduling it at least 3 weeks before your wedding date.
Why?
This gives us the time to tailor the colour and shade of your tan so that you feel exceptionally beautiful on your wedding day.

BEFORE SPRAY TANNING

1. Perform Exfoliation 24 Hours Prior to Your Appointment.

Exfoliation helps remove dead skin cells, ensuring an even distribution of the tan.

2. Avoid Products with SLS and Mineral Oils: Before visiting the spray tanning salon, try to use body care products that do not contain SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) or mineral oils.

Alternatively, Use Exfoliation Gloves: If you don't have the right exfoliation products, you can opt for special exfoliation gloves available at most stores. They will effectively remove dead skin cells.

REMEMBER, Exfoliation Is a Key Step

3. Hair Removal:

- Clean Razor: Use a clean razor for hair removal 24 hours before your appointment, and rinse with cold or lukewarm water.

- Laser Hair Removal: If you undergo laser hair removal, do it 2 weeks before spray tanning.

- Waxing: Choose waxing 3-4 days before your appointment.

4. Skin Preparation:

- Take a shower ideally 2-4 hours before your visit to the spray tanning salon.

- Use lukewarm water and rinse your body with cold water.

- Do not apply any cosmetics, creams, lotions, lip balm, antiperspirants, or perfumes on your skin.

5. Clothing: Bring loose, preferably dark colors clothing with you.

Ensure that your shower is done without the use of any products.

The skin before spray tanning must be clean and free from any cosmetics.

AFTER CARE

1. After the treatment, wear loose, preferably dark clothing.

2. Avoid skin contact with water before your first shower.

3. Do not wash your hands.

4. Do not touch your skin with your hands before the first shower, not cross your legs, arms or other skin to skin contact, before first shower.

5. After the designated time has passed, take a shower with lukewarm water without using soap or shower gel. Use only water, and make sure not to make it too short or too long. Continue until you see the product has rinsed off, and the water runs clear. Start the shower from your feet and work your way up to your face, including your ears.

6. For the first 24 hours after the treatment, avoid using shower gels, exfoliants, shampoos, and lotions.

7. After the shower, gently pat your body dry with a towel, avoiding vigorous rubbing.

8. During the first 24 hours after the treatment, avoid sweating, physical exercise, and swimming.
